FLOWER VASES

Winona Vase The popular Winona vase adjusts to two height positions when open. The bottom completely covers the outer casing when closed, avoiding clogging or jamming. Reverses when not in use and sets level with the ground. The heavy galvanized vase is finished in attractive green enamel. Two dozen per case.	The Daisy Vase The Daisy is flush to the ground when stored, eliminating damage to mowers. Vase and storage shell are solid aluminum. The vase is 8" in height, 3 3/4" in diameter at mouth, 5 1/2" outer shell and has a 1" rim. Bronze or Aluminum finishes are available. The Daisy has a wrieath design on the rim. Roundsling styles - Endless (ENR) and Eye & Eye (EER)

Roundslings
Roundslings offer the user the ultimate in lifting security and rigging ease. Roundslings are constructed from a continuous loop of 100% polyester fiber, with the actual number of winds determining the capacity of the sling. Each roundsling is covered with a double polyester woven jacket to protect the load-bearing windings from damage. Because the load-bearing windings never come in contact with the load, they are protected from cuts, abrasions and ultraviolet degradation provided the jacket remains intact. Each sling is tagged for quick and easy identification.

Flatslings
Same as above but with flat windings for those who prefer a wide profile for more surface contact.

Braided slings
Braided slings provide greater security in handling high-capacity loads, while maintaining the qualities our other slings offer. Braided slings are constructed using 3 (6 Part) or 4 (8 Part) endless roundslings. Braid slings offer superior performance in a vertical, choker or basket hitch.

BALLISTIC - NYLON TARPS

If you've been using plywood and/or canvas under the dirt to be backfilled into each new grave,k you may have noticed how expensive 3/4" plywood and even medium-weight canvas have become. Since plywood tends to crack and splinter, and even heavy-duty canvas is vulnerable to backhoes and shovels - especially during frequent and hurried use - you may be replacing one or both of these materials quite regularly.

DOLLY - FROST REMOVER - COCOA MATTING

Easy Rolling Dolly Designed to move heavy loads over ground and turf even under the wettest conditions. Wide rims and tires with low tire pressure insure minimal damage to turf. Runs for about 35-40 hours on a 100lb cylinder of gas. As it removes the frost, the controlled heat conditions the soil for digging. Dirt removed is dry and will remain unfrozen for hours. Insulated canopy leaves ground at gravesite dry and firm. The heat source is a contractor's model burner, capable of producing 500,000 B.T.U.s using LP bottled gas. It is made to operate out of doors and will not be affected by weather conditions. OSHA-required automatic, emergency shut-off value supplied with each unit.
Cocoa Matting Avoid those danger spots that get slippery in bad weather with quality Cocoa Matting. Cocoa Matting is a sturdy, 3 shaft herringbone, reversible twill matting which is tightly woven to reduce the danger of slipping. Ideal for protecting your lawns at the cemetery, year round hallway use in public buildings and stores, on wet or greasy floors, on stairs or walks, or for your private use. STERIL TENTS

Steril originated the idea of supporting canvas by means of a folding framework, combining the strength and rigidity of aluminum tubing with the toughness and flexibility of hickory. This eliminates the need of interior poles and makes every square foot of coverage useful. Steril Mfg. Co. has been serving the cemetery trade since 1910.

Back Wall is standardly made in one straight section and if used alone may be securely fastened to corner poles. Side Walls are made in one straight section. Either one or both can be used with or without back or front walls. Front Wall is standardly made in one piece but may be made in 2 straight sections and therefore being divided at center can be draped back to provide desired size of entrance. Each section may be used individually or in connection with any other wall.

NORVELL HILLSIDE TENTS

Norvell's original "one man" set-up frame with patented hinged self-leveling construction. Each piece of frame is interchangeable and will fit any place. Frames are available in galvanized high carbon steel tubing or heavy wall aluminum. All frames have cast steel fixtures, which are guaranteed. Norvell Hillside Tents (10' x 10', 15' x 15' and 15' x 20', 20' x 20') are all built on a hinged-construction basis. This gives many advantages no other metal frame tent offers.

NORVELL HILLSIDE TENT WALLS AND MOUND COVERS
	STRAIGHT WALL Our straight side wall is made to shield one side of the tent from blowing rain, snow, wind, or glaring sun rays. Its principal function is protection, although it also provides privacy. Straight walls cannot be converted to awnings.
	WINDOW WALL The window wall is designed to let light into a tent even though side walls are needed for weather protection.  The 15’ wall contains 32 panels of transparent polyethylene, each panel approximately 10” x 12”. The 20-foot wall contains 40 panels. With reasonable care, walls of this type have remained in good condition through five years of use, with only normal wear being in evidence.
	WALL COMPLETE TO FORM AWNING This wall serves the purpose of protection but, in addition, it is made with rope sewn completely around its edges to reinforce all points of strain so that it can be pulled outward and upward to form an awning.  Each wall, when extended, adds 105 square feet of sheltered area to the tent.
	NORTHERN STYLE WALL Northern Style walls and mound covers are made with an extra foot of material on each end which laps around the corner post and fastens to the outside of the connecting wall or mound cover.
	SUN EXTENSION The Sun Extension is made to fit the 15’ side of all Norvell tents.  It is 8’ x 15’ and protects and additional 120 square feet with dignity and beauty.  Scalloped and bound with the same care as the valance of the tent.  Unlike the awning wall (which has no valance), the frame of the Sun Extension is a continuation of the tent. Two corner posts with hinged arms fasten to the tent and to themselves. Two lateral braces which run from the side rail of the tent to the outside rail of the Sun Extension support the canopy top.  The Sun Extension is much stronger than the awning wall and more suited to winter weather.  Walls for the Sun Extension can be up to 23’ long on 15’ x 15’ tents and 28’ long on 15’ x 20’ tents.

MOUND COVERS These big, roomy mound covers are made in three stock styles.  Each may be used on any side of either style 15’ x 15’ tent or on the ends of either style 15’ x 20’ tent. All covers are seven feet deep and fifteen feet long, the difference being in the back walls.  (See below.) All Norvell mound covers are complete with guy lines spliced to the cover and steel stakes.
	STRAIGHT STYLE The straight, or regular style, mound cover is designed primarily to protect your flowers, grass, lowering device, etc. from exposure to sun and rain.  It has no back wall, but has more than ample space to take care of dirt, grass, and equipment.
	BOX STYLE The box mound cover is designed as an extension to the tent. Due to the fact that the back wall is three feet high, it will accommodate two rows of chairs quite comfortably.
	ALCOVE STYLE The alcove mound cover is designed primarily as an addition to the tent to be used as a family room. This addition, which can be attached in minutes, solves a pressing need for a larger tent. The addition of the alcove enlarges the tent by 105 square feet. Because the back wall is four and one-half feet high, it will accommodate three rows of chairs and will give protection from four sides with one piece of cloth.

	Ridge Pole Style Tent - Ridge Pole tents have no center poles. The inside of the tent is clear. They are light, easy to handle, always straight and do not warp or break under normal use. To further increase the ease of handling and carrying, the ridge pole and support poles are telescoped. The ridge pole and the support poles are made from tubing. All other poles are straight 7' wood poles. Stakes are steel. All-metal poles are also available. All tents include a name panel at no additional charge. Push Pole Style Tent - The push-pole tent utilizes a telescoping center push pole. To prevent wear by the center push pole, the center of the top is thoroughly reinforced with metal plates. The center push pole is made from tubing. All other poles are straight 7' wood poles. Stakes are steel. All-metal poles are also available. All tents include a name panel at no additional charge. Materials for all Tents 13oz. Cotton Duck - Standard colors are made from the highest-quality, 13oz. cotton duck. This is the material normally referred to as canvas duck, it is mildew-resistant and water-repellent. The tops are made slightly large because the material will shrink to fit after used two or three times in wet weather. Don't be fooled by imitations or cheap brands, many use 11oz. duck rather than 13oz. to cut prices. Standard Colors - Pearl Grey, British Tan, and Desert Sand.
Norvell Acrylic Material - Norvell special acrylic material are man made fibers. Acrylic neither shrinks nor fades like cotton. Colors will look new longer, and a top will be lighter in weight, yet slightly stronger than cotton duck.

STAINLESS STEEL LOT MARKERS

KERNCO introduces their new cemetery lot marker. After years of customers explaining to us how they would "love to use stainless markers, but they rust where the strike lines are", we have come up with the answer. The KERNCO Endowed Marker
Made exclusively for Kernco, this marker is the answer for special / perpetual care designation when a refined look is of the utmost importance. Constructed of 100% aluminum with embossed letters and brushed gold finish not only is this the easiest way to designate a gravesite it is also the most dignified. Each marker is made up of three separate components. The first layer is 100% embossed brushed gold finished aluminum. The second is a thin foam backing which insures a solid seal even on rough and worn surfaces. The third is an agressive adhesive, which when applied with pressure forms a nearly tamperproof seal. Colored Paper Spot Markers
Made of paper with adhesive backing these markers are the most cost efficient way of designating grave sites. Spot markers come in a variety of sizes and colors. The Hamlin Casket Lift
The design of this Hydraulic Mausoleum Casket Lift is in keeping with the dignity of the entombment services. Its low, modern lines blend pleasingly with its surroundings and its quiet operation proves never to be offensive to the moment. Operation of the lift is always in complete control by the attendant riding up with the casket. He can stop the lift at whatever height he desires, or adjust its height a freaction of an inch. A new and easy way to permanently seal your mausoleum crypts. For hard to seal or rough finishes, use the tape primer. Spray on primer, wait five minutes and apply tape. Bond is chemical, moisture, ultra-violet and lightproof.

Cert'n - Deodorant Powder
Cert'n is used in cemeteries as an effective way to avoid putrefactive odors in vaults and crypts and to protect personnel from contagious diseases. Cert'n is a highly volatile powder which, when exposed to air, vaporizes to a gaseous form, killing any bacteria and fungi that are present. When Cert'n is used in a sealed vault the remains will be protected from mold growth indefinitely. Cert'n is a must ofr every crypt or vault entombment in the mausoleum and should be considered as your best insurance against emabarrassing odors, molds, or insects. Always sprinkle one or two pounds of Cert'n into a vault or crypt and seal tightly.
